Worker's Compensation Evaluation & Treatment

When an employee sustains a work-related injury, the employer's worker's compensation insurance (also known as workman's compensation or work comp) pays for lost wages, medical costs, and rehabilitation for the injured employee.
Most worker's compensation claims are orthopedic and require comprehensive, personalized evaluation and treatment plans. An injured employee may undergo evaluation and treatment by the employer's doctor of choice, or by one he or she chooses. According to Nebraska law, injured workers have the right to select their evaluating and treating physicians, but specific rules do apply.
As an experienced orthopedic hand, wrist, and elbow specialist, I understand the unique challenges presented by work-related injuries and injured worker's needs. I firmly believe that early diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries are the key to returning an injured worker to his job as soon as possible.
At the same time, I feel it is my duty to make the worker's compensation documentation process efficient and timely for both the worker and the worker's compensation case manager. If you are a patient or a case manager searching for the right orthopedic specialist, I assure you that your care and satisfaction are my top priorities.

Immediate Report Turnaround
I dictate the majority of my reports within 2-3 hours after providing care. The dictated report is then immediately sent to the carrier and attorneys, so there is no reason for a delay in care or benefits. Occasionally, due to a heavy surgical or call schedule, it may take me up to 12 hours to produce a report. In any case, do not hesitate to e-mail me directly to follow up with the status of the report.
